Pole Cat part 2

I wrote about our sweet kitty's dilemma here.

Well, today, at 12:00 noon, 54 hours after going up that pole, the nice Utility man came to rescue him.
He took a picture and joked about being told he could call the news reporters if he wanted to. LOL
He said he always wanted to save a cat off of a pole.... and then, our little kitty put his foot onto the wire once again, like he had been doing for 2 plus days, and slipped. He FELL 25 feet, got up and walked over to us!  He was VERY hungry and tired and VERY happy to be off that pole! LOL
He was not hurt.  The electric man said, "Wow, Cats really do have 9 lives!"
So he is safe and we have some very happy girls.

Pole Cat

Well, Wally (aka Cloud Paw) has gotten himself into a real fix!  We heard him meowing yesterday morning and couldn't find him.  When we got home from Church, we followed his meows, but it took a while to actually LOCATE him.

Here he is:

He is sitting on top of our neighbor's TELEPHONE POLE!  My guess is he is 20 feet off the ground.   He tries to get down, but is too scared.

I have a call into our County Animal Control to see if they can help.  My guess is if he gets hungry enough, he'll most likely come down on his own.  Of course Anna is VERY worried about him.
We put his food dish out and he mowed loudly as he watched Bob the other cat eat his food.

Poor Kitty! 

Of course, the birds are sitting on the other telephone pole enjoying the show!  For a while there was a whole row of them staring at him.  Mike said, they were selling tickets.  :)

The Kitten Circus

"I MUST CLEAN HIS HOUSE!"Is what Sarah said this morning before breakfast. She loves taking care of Wally.

She found some windex and paper towels and out she went. Wally enjoyed staying close by and watching her.
I love it when the girlies have glimpses of being "little women". :)

Introducing Wally

Wally is our new kitten.




Wally was found INSIDE the WALL of my Brother's house! My sister kept on hearing this meowing coming from somewhere in the house. After a few days, she finally located the meow in the closet wall. They broke through the wall to find this little precious kitten meowing LOUDLY and hungry! So, after a few days of feeding him, we got the call, that they would bring him on over if we wanted him. DID WE WANT HIM? OH YEA!

The neat thing is, Anna was talking about wanting a cat again so badly. I told her, let's pray and see how God provides. Her prayers were answered the very next day!

I love these teaching moments and faith builders for our kids. She remembered right away our talk about letting God choose the right kitten for us. :)

My brother named him Wally, and we think that is a purrrrfect name for him. :)
