Back in 2012 I spoke at an adoption conference called "Together for Them". Alex Krutov was the key note speaker. He shared his very raw testimony of his life growing up in the Russian orphanage system and how Missionaries that he met, sharing the Love of a Savior, Jesus Christ, caused a huge change in his life. At the conference we got a chance to talk and we formed a friendship that has lasted many years.
Today, Alex is a husband, father and leader of an amazing ministry called "The Harbor", that works with aged out orphans. Alex and Amy and the boys stop here periodically when in town and we host them at our home. It is always such a pleasure to see them.
If you want to read a riviting book and testimony about God's grace through perilous times, this is the book for you! It is available for purchase on Amazon.
Alex and Amy's ministry is very active and dependent upon donations. This is their website. The Harbor

A Thought
Prayer Quote
“I pray because I can't help myself. I pray because I'm helpless. I pray because the need flows out of me all the time- waking and sleeping. It doesn't change God- it changes me.”

Faith
I believe in the sun even when it's not shining. I believe in love even when I don't feel it. And I believe in God even when He is silent. (quote found on the wall of a concentration camp)
