Thanksgiving Part 2

We had such a blessed day. The girls had friends over, and we did too.  All in all there were 27 people on Thanksgiving Day.  Our son Marc and his wife Ivy and our 3 grands came earlier because poor Ivy was having surgery right before Thanksgiving.  Everything turned out well, praise the Lord.

Thanksgiving

Our last Thanksgiving guest just left. My heart is filled with joy for the weekend we had. May the joy of the Lord fill all of our hearts as we turn our focus to the ultimate gift God sent at the appointed time. The baby King who emptied himself and as creator, entered the creation.
The only begotten Son, the firstborn incarnate Son, the Lamb of God who would take away the sins of the world.
The King of Kings and Lord of Lords, whom every knee will bow down to and tongue confess, that, Jesus Christ is Lord.

Creativity

The girls have been BUSY creating things.... Anna has been making "guitar pic" neclaces and earrings. She did a really neat job on them. 
Unfortunately, she is coming down with a cold. :(   Hopefully it is just mild and goes away quickly.

 She has really turned into a TEEN! :)  She is so precious.  Her birthday is on Tuesday. She has requested Gluten Free Pumpkin Pie instead of a cake. :)

It was time for the Annual Ginger Bread House. This year we did a BARN. :)

The Day After Thanksgiving....

We started decorating for Christmas. :)
I love the entire Holiday Season!
It is tradition for us, to put up the tree and decorate for Christmas, the day after Thanksgiving.
So we had visits from our older sons, Tim and Marcus and their wives, Em's and Ivy. 
Em's and Ivy are sisters.  So there are brothers, married to sisters, which makes the cousins, "double cousins". :)

We had so much fun visiting, watching the boys feed the goats and chicken, collecting eggs and nuts and watching Ilse and Olivia smile and snuggle. :)

Emily stayed late and helped me DUST and decorate! I swear I had enough dust to create a second Adam! :)
Marcus and Tim helped get the tree and decoration boxes down from the attic.  THANK YOU!!! A HUGE THANK YOU! :)
