His Mercy

"His Mercies Are New Every Morning"

A Thought

In this life we can not always do great things. But we can do small things with great love.." :) Mother Teresa

Prayer Quote

“I pray because I can't help myself. I pray because I'm helpless. I pray because the need flows out of me all the time- waking and sleeping. It doesn't change God- it changes me.”
― C. S. Lewis

Faith

I believe in the sun even when it's not shining. I believe in love even when I don't feel it. And I believe in God even when He is silent. (quote found on the wall of a concentration camp)

The Thrill of Victory and the Agony of Defeat

This morning I lost a killer backgammon game to Sarah. So, she challenged me to a game of Chess afterwards. She always beats me at chess too, but I was willing to play. It was my motherly duty to bring her satisfaction and joy, especially since I taught her to play both games and had my fill of wins.
Her little kitty was SHOCKED by the outcome of this game!

Can you tell who won based upon these pictures?

Ahhh, the thrill of Victory and the Agony of Defeat!

REMATCH!!!!! :) No way, not until a picture. :)

In all fairness, I owe her a rematch. She was having a discussion with daddy about Evolution while playing the game.

Hey Kate

Maybe they can have a match either at Thanksgiving or Christmas! :)

Speaking of which....
What are some ideas for gifts for you for Christmas?
I found Lillian something today, but with you, my dear, Gramma is stumped!
Did you like your Ukraine Shirt?
